Without a change to base slots per account and/or a change to available team slots, I don't think a 6th char slot on my account would be of much use...

Pretty much, I'm playing only on weekends, no need to screw my school grades to play SS .. I'm just hoping a class mate will take my account and play on it while I study

At least is it possible to add a character from beta instead of another character on live ?
I mean, I got a Lvl 21 on c2 and 2 Lvl 2 alts.... so it would be so nice if you could do at least that.

I seriously doubt that could be done without a pretty big amount of work. Adding a 6th char probably wouldnt be any easier, especially since many have named their SS2 beta char the same as one of their SS1 chars.

give beta testers something broken... like a unique ship that stops every now and then with a bang and a cloud of smoke :p

Just slap "Tester" as a prefix on all the beta chars and just merge all the accounts on the c1 and c2 servers.

6 characters on 1 account isn't unheard of for some older accounts, apparently.

As far as I know there is only 1 account with 6 chars on it. A extra char was added because one of the chars had some weird bug so it couldnt be used. That bug was later fixed. This was many years ago, probably back in 2004.

But yeah, it is actually possible to added more chars to a account. I highly doubt Jeff wants to do that as a reward though.

What I mean is : Can you delete a character from the live account to add one from the beta ? I got a Lvl 0 character and my beta character is 21 already, and ill continue to Lvl it. Can't there be a way to REPLACE a LIVE character with a BETA character ?

Exactly. Would be way too much work to do manually and probably not possible to make it automated.

Actually, I know of at least 1 account that has 13 characters on it.
