Stealth was intended to dictate when it ends. Unfortunately collision code allows virtually every class to continue to dps an object that was never intended to be hit.

Thus forth, escape needs to be from speed, or warping.

Then use a speed tweak or one of the many microwarpers at your disposal. You don't get a special device on a special ship for your every need. Or... change your combat style so you don't have to get right up in your enemy's face.

I don't use seer weapons as much anymore for this very reason. I use an ares sapper to range alot of my targets. Its just raping the way seers should fight. With DPH. With the massive amounts of base resists and lack of damage to compensate, DPH is really too risky to even bother with anymore.

I am not sure why this isn't sinking in. Berserkers complain they can't hold hostility against Snipers. While that may be true, they don't get a special ship with special hostility bonuses to "fix" the situation. Giving a class a special ship with a special ability does not constitute any fix to a perceived imbalance. Give up, it's not going to happen for you.

The only acceptable way to change things is to adjust the class skills themselves, which may actually happen at some point. However, the dev team is obviously going to take such an undertaking very serious since it's quite easy to mess things up even further. I don't have a strong opinion about whether Seer is actually at a disadvantage in PvP – I've seen many Seer play extremely effectively – but at any rate the way you're trying to fix it is misguided.

EDIT: you could also pull for a Seer-locked device that does something like this. At any rate it won't go on the hull of the ArH.

Im not suggesting a fix, or anything like that. Its a fact that the inbuilts are crap and need replacing/revamping. Now you cant just throw any inbuilt in, it needs some thought. Especially because its intended to be a seer ship, it needs to cater to some of seers needs.

1 major need is to escape. Honestly can you find any other needs? Recon classes don't tank, they hit and run. With many broken aspects in the game you cant just hide anymore.


Not to be confused with any uber run issues. I don't think anyone has made a topic about beefing zerk's class hostility

While the AGH's inbuilts are a letdown, and a lot of people are asking for some change (ObamaTM), you have shown that you want seer to be the most OP class in game. You don't care about balance; you just want to be that monster that can kill anyone, anyai, and anysquad.

And as enkelin has pointed out, a ship or superweapon that caters either specifically to your needs or is so OP any idiot can break the class is never going to happen.

So stop before you get seer nerfed, again.

A sniper out dps anyday with any weapon a seer can use. Hell sniper does more dmg with a ppf also.
