I want to see some dev/admin response on the original idea of making it easier to aug drones, especially moving ones.

Spam aside. Dialog or alternative method to inject augmenters aside from directly tossing over seems like it might be somewhat useful. It'd still have to auto close however if you moved away from the drone though.
