how do you get the shard dust then other than trading "hard earnd heph/pos/ares/zeus shards x10 " in for enough tokens/shard dusts or what ever for 1 heph/pos/zeus/ares shard

Okay - there seems to be a problem here. The only way to get dust is to get shards and trade the shards for dust. The only way to get shards is to have a squad go kill oly ubers. how exactly is this solo content?

There are no other missions to get dust, at least for me - maybe there should be, but there isnt.

Also - I did a mission that gave me a letter introduction, and the letter of introduction vanished from my inventory - so my guess is that the whole thing is bugged.

The way to get dusts is by doing the missions (for example killing 10 ares warriors).
If you do 10 of these missions, you'll have 10 dusts and you can trade those 10 dusts to 1 shard.

If he thinks Thermal and his Ion Peashooters are Gremcannons, then I don't see how Clam can do the solo content

there is nothing saying kill 10 ares warriors. There is nothing that says kill anything and you get dust. Something is missing.

Well, I was crediting thermal when 5 Oly ships being MC'd(Thermal on HM, PW, etc) jumped into a gal I was docked at firing Peashooters at the poor RE soul that also was in there.

The guy ran like hell back to his galaxies.

I havent had time to actually try the missions out on live server, but when they were on test they worked fine, you just need to follow the mission chain, it kinda explains itself.

The mission for the letters reads "In the tradition of all good spy papers, this letter will self-destruct, so go straight to my contact!" The letters will disappear if you leave the galaxy without accepting a mission. This was part of the daily mission timer and is necessary for these missions to work correctly.

When you are given the letter, look at it in your inventory and it will tell you which of the remaining bases in the galaxy you need to go to to accept your missions.

Each time you complete a mission you will receive a shard dust - you do not need to turn in shards for dusts. If you complete an entire mission chain (which is not necessary to get dust) you will have enough dusts to get one shard.

The reason the shard to dust missions were put in is in case you are doing oly a lot and want some of the daily missions prizes. If you have extra shards you can turn them in for tokens and either get shards for your alts or get prizes.

We've already found one bug in the alchemist mission line and I've fixed it. It will be in with the next patch (a few days). If anyone finds more, forum pm me or post in the testing forum above this to the t21 mission thread.
