Also, might I just say that the new font is probably the most amazing part of the patch? It alone has made the game about 100% more accessible to me, and that's awesome. Kudos for that and the client optimizations that have been happening!

Now just make the game a bit more brighter and fix them ubers+the mausoleum crash and i will be somewhat content :P

Gunner will need more improvements before I come back to this game. Not just the missile system, but the ship area of content along with raw stats.

It's a step in the right direction, though.

Yes it works but i still feel that the game in general is still pretty dark, the light suns aren't really light enough, they don't really brighten up the galaxy because they are orangeish. But that's just my opinion. The ships are visible now atleast with full ambient lighting on.

ambient light makes all colors white, it looks kinda horrible imo. There should be some global lightening instead.

I thin other main issue people have with the contrast is that your whole ship isn't lit up like it was in c1 because there weren't any shadows resulting from 3D

The ambient lighting helped to some degree, but all radiant sources are also too dark, or possibly too harsh; they're really bright right on top, but they don't have the illumination to space that they had in C1. That makes it look a lot darker.
