On a serious note it's good to hear that some very good progress is being made and that the entire community can test the game. The video looks great. I hope i do not need to make computer Upgrades.


The Battlefield 3 Beta and Client 2 Beta are on about the same dates. More fun for me.

I spent a lot of time on the new mining sound... =/

I was really underwhelmed by the Bell's Cathedral fight sequence.

Heh it was just something wrong with my speakers so they made an annoying metallic sound xD

I didn't find this engaging at all, I hope this isn't the promotional trailer for the beta... Sure it's nice for us to see the improvements made on C1, but what about the people who haven't played C1? I don't really see much incentive for new players to join.

Are you still planning to make everyone start a new account for the beta, or will we be using our current chars? Any guess as to how long the beta will last?

The beta test will be everyone starting at level 0, with a bunch of prizes for different achievements that will be transferred over to your "real" characters. The beta test is currently scheduled to last a little under 2 months.
