Exporting .x animations from blender requires an act of God. Good luck.

Check blender forums.

Bah but blender is the only program I have and can use xD
Its all fine when I take original wattage, reduce ammount of polys and export.
Animation exports just fine, but it doesn't for files saved after optimisation.

I can export final file to .obj just fine or to .x without animation ;|

How does it look?

Texture sucks since I cant really do it well, also its missing lots of effects yet and animation.

Plasma Ball in the middle is supposed to be shiny and cloudy, also i'd like some lightenings around

Resembles a Wattage, yet not a Wattage.

You made an awesome Wattage graphic that Jeff only used the topdown version :(

Why can't that be for C2? :x

But they can keep the same shape? The spikes just don't do it justice for a ship that was originally smooth.

smooth? previous model was smoother

But it was really messy after reducing polys

There is no friction in space, i don't know what kind of fascination people have with these aerodynamic blobs of smoothness. I just don't find the smooth models appealing at all.

I like it, but feel it could use a more clearly defined front and back. Right now, it seems equally likely for the engine exhaust to come out either end, lol. Looks nice though, resembles the Shivans from Freespace 2.

The front looks like a bridge/cockpit with windows to me. Anywho, make the back end look like a Tesla coil inside of a sperical faraday cage perhaps? Kinda looks like that now, but there's something off about both models in my eye and I can't place it... (I do like the gun turret thingies under the cockpit though. )

Edit: If you can give me a link to the model, I'd could play around with it. I'd like to see it from all angles before really giving more advice or tinkering with it.
