Repairing the generator
"Churchill, as you might have noticed, we do not have access to all the facilities of this station. Most of them have been destroyed, but I believe the ones in the lower level are still functioning, including the UrQa supercomputer.
Ibn' Jaguur shows you a carefully laiden map of the station, and points at an alien structure highlighted in yellow. This is the Aqu'Qa, the main power source of this station. Since our crash, it's been working at five percent efficiency, which is barely enough to keep the basic life-support systems functioning. Evidently it has been severely damaged during our attack, and all our attempts to repair it failed.
Ibn' Jaguur lifts his eyes and gazes at you. Since you've already proven your knack for destroying UrQa ships, perhaps you will be able to obtain the schematics for Aqu'Qa as well? With those plans we just might be able to repair it"
Summary "Obtain one Aku Qa Blueprint so the Kalthi can fix Qokuji Qa'ik's power generator"

Re: Lyceum stats needed, articles needed, and general info.
Rogue Researcher
"This time the Colonel sounds a lot less cheerful, as he contacts you via the infolink. Churchill, our engineers have run into some sort of a...problem. It appears that the fighter uses an unknown energy source to power its weapons, and the MRI scan of the metal alloy used for its armor was not successful. His voice suddenly becomes quiet: Churchill I believe I found a solution, though it might involve certain risks I am not sure you're willing to take. This fighter, and many other ships the Blue use, was designed by Frank Harris, one of their chief scientists. After your daring attack on the Beta prototype and Barbe Bleu's destruction, he left Blue Research and was last reported heading far north.
The colonel pauses to upload a short biography of the man and continues: The fact that he would abandon his post after your assault proves that he was not Barbe Bleu's puppet, and perhaps we'll be able to convince him to come over to our side. We do not know his exact destination, but there are only a handful of places in the Wild Space where he could've gone to.
I am sorry we cannot give you any more details, but you've shown us that even the impossible can be achieved with sufficient determination. Remember Churchill, Wild Space is a dangerous, desolate place and I don't want to have your death on my concience. Good luck."
* Reward: Wernher von Bleu
Summary "Wernher von Bleu, former Chief Engineer for the Blue. He was last seen heading north. You suspect that the restaurant at the 'End Of The Universe' would be a good place to ask around"
Rogue Researcher
"You look out the illuminator at the strage, swirling cloud of light outside. The sight is beautiful and eerie at the same time and you begin to lose track of time just looking at it. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, you are yanked back to reality by a voice coming from behind:
Sir, you could get a much better view of the nebula at the observation deck. I for one have a break coming up in a minute and I intend to finish cleaning illuminators by then.
You turn around and see an elderly Blue male, clenching a dirty rag and looking very impatient. Reluctantly you take one last look at the anomaly outside and let the man do his work, but as you're about to leave, your eyes catch a sight of the nametag hanging off his jacket.
To your surprise it says In training: Wern Bleu."

Re: Lyceum stats needed, articles needed, and general info.
A narrow escape
"As you explain the situation, Wern's face begins to soften and by the time you finish speaking he has a rather hopeful look in his eyes.
Well, you can tell the colonel I'd be more than happy to work for Earthforce if it guaranteed my escape from this hellhole, he says with a weak chuckle. After Barbe Bleu was killed, I figured that with most of the staff fleeing the Blue Research station, my career as a small spacecraft engineer came to an end. I decided to have one last adventure and traveled to quite a few places, then took one of those Starrunner ships and made my way here.
You ask Wern how he came to work in the restaurant, and he continues: Churchill have you seen the prices here?! One measly burger costs more than what I made in my entire lifetime and I must've ordered six of them before they brought me the tab. And with the amount they subtract daily from my wage to pay the employee housing fees, I'm actually losing billions daily!
At last, you begin to understand Wern's predicament. You offer to pay his debt, but that plan is quickly put aside by the fact that doing so would drain Earth Force's budget for the next four or five decades. Quickly you come up with another solution.
Trying to remain as insconspicuous as possible, you and Frank start slowly moving towards the dock where your ship is parked..."
Summary "Escape the End of the Universe in one piece and deliver Frank to Earth Force HQ. And try not to toss him out of the airlock on the way..."
A narrow escape
"Remarkable Churchill, you found him! I trust you did not have any trouble with this latest mission?, says Roderick, trying his best not to look at the blaster marks marks etched across your ship's exterior, and you assure him that you didn't.
Excellent! We already got Wern accomodated and you are welcome to visit him anytime. He already uploaded the plans for the Space Blue Alpha Fighter to our database, and I believe he's now working on the next generation of these fighters! I know this is not much of a reward, but I signed the release on one of the fighter blueprints, and of course you'll have access to further break throughs we are sure to make. Good luck, Churchill and keep up the good work!"

Re: Lyceum stats needed, articles needed, and general info.
Space Blue Delta Force
"This time Wen has a little more time than usual, so he strikes a conversation with you. After discussing the latest news, he seems to remember something important.
Churchill, you're quite an experienced Fleet Commander, right? In that case, I believe I have some interesting information for you. Back when Barbe Bleu was in charge of the Blue Outpost, he had an elite fighter squadron, called Blue Delta Force. Those are some of the fiercest dogfighters in the universe, and now that their commander is dead, they might make a fine addition to your fleet if you manage to impress them.
Wern gives you the directions to Blue Delta hangar, and wishes you luck. As you are about to leave, he turns and says:
But remember Churchill, be careful. You will be dealing with pirates and pirates look out only for themselves."
* Reward: Gold Dubloon
Summary "Travel to Blue Outpost and locate Barbe Bleu's former squadron."
Space Blue Delta Force
"You descend into the bowels of the outpost, trying to make your way through a crowd of various aliens of all shapes, colors and sizes. Even with Wern's directions you had to backtrack twice and ask a slimy yellow humanoid to show you the way once.
Eventually you descend to the very bottom of the asteroid, finding yourself in the service tunnels. The heat from the maze of pipes above and below you becomes more than uncomfortable and you have to turn on a portable oxygen purifier before going further.
After half an hour of searching the tunnels you finally find a large metal door and knock.
At first nothing happens and the air around you suddenly grows very quiet, save the breathing of the pipes. Your excitement begins to fade, and you're considering leaving when the door suddenly slams open.
Immediately you find yourself held at a gunpoint by a well-muscled individual, obviously of Blue origin and half a dozen Blues behind him. You quickly explain the reason for your visit, but they only lower their weapon after you mention Frank Harris' name.
Alright, he says. Let's talk business."

Re: Lyceum stats needed, articles needed, and general info.
Blue Baron
"There is one thing we have to get straight before conducting any business, mister Churchill, says the muscled man in a heavily accented Terran, and that is that I am the best there is. He pauses emphatically, then continues: My name is Blue Baron, and I'm the leader of the Blue Delta Force, the elite group of ace fighter pilots. We don't care where we fight or what we fight and we'll bring enough tactical know-how to battle to make even pathetic pink-skin chumps like you into competent marksmen.
His face twists in an unkind smile and he continues, not bothering to conseal his obvious disgust with mankind: Of course before we even consider going into whatever hell you're sending us to, you'll have to prove that you're more than a half-wit who paid to have a hole drilled in the side of his ship. Kill an officer of the Bonnet Gang and bring me his remains as a proof.
You nod, but Blue Baron interrupts you before you have a chance to speak: There's also a matter of payment. Our allegiance is not for the lightwalleted, so don't bother coming back until you can afford it.
Without further pleasantries, two Blue grunts escort you outside and slam the door shut behind you."
Summary "obtain Rackham remains to prove your worth to the Blue. Also gather 10 Gold Dubloons to pay the recruitment fees."

Re: Lyceum stats needed, articles needed, and general info.
Green Orb?
So, you've realized learning about Mzungu Lore is what you'd like to do Churchill? Well, I'm Zephyros and I well assist you in deciphering the wisdom of the ancients. As we research, and unlock the secrets of their race, you will begin to understand more about the Mzungu than you thought possible. Now, let's begin. I'd like you to bring me 5 Mzungu Green Orbs. Orbs are thought to be the way the ancients recorded information, and if we access that information, you'll gain a wealth of knowledge.
* Credits given: 50000000 * Experience given. * Reward: Paxian Research Medal * Reward: Paxian Research Medal * Reward: Paxian Research Medal * Reward: Paxian Research Medal * Reward Skill: Mzungu Lore through lvl 6
Summary Bring Zephyros 5 Mzungu Green Orb, these can be extracted from Mzungu Ruins after colonization.
Green Orb?
Zephyros rolls the orb in his hand, admiring it, and then hooks it to a machine in the lab. "Churchill, are you ready? We're going to unlock the secrets of this orb!" He pushes a few buttons on the panal that controls the machine, and suddenly light streaks from the orb and the shell splits, unleashing a wave of photons. They quickly arrange themselves into Holodisplay. "Amazing isn't it Churchill? Take these research tokens, they'll allow you to access all the information we've just downloaded from this orb."

Basic Mzungu Lore
Ah, hello again Churchill. Here to learn more about Mzungu are you? I've analyzed everything most of the information found in this orb, quite amazing actually. The ancients were able to store information on photons ages and then became extinct before any other races discoved the same technology! Ah, of course, you don't want to hear me prattle on about the minor details, you're here to learn about Mzungu Lore! Based on the analysis of the data in the Orb, I've concluded it will be best to teach you about some of the more basic Mzungu traits and items. So, to start your education how about you bring me say, three Mzungu Pulse Shotgun, and two Gold Bar? If I use those in an uplink with the Orb, we can bypass its security features to unlock data even deeper within, and of course, learn more!
* Credits given: 50000000 * Experience given. * Reward: Paxian Research Medal * Reward: Paxian Research Medal * Reward: Paxian Research Medal * Reward Skill: Mzungu Lore through lvl 11
Summary Bring Zephyros 3 Mzungu Pulse Shotgun, these can be extracted from Mzungu Ruins after colonization or found in low level DG. Also bring him 2 Gold Bars.

Re: Lyceum stats needed, articles needed, and general info.
STRIKE! STRIKE!
A large mob of workers has gathered around the station's main office, throwing rocks at the security bots and singing revolutionary slogans. You stop a young lad who is trying to light a molotov cocktail and ask him about the source of this commotion.
"It's the station master, man. That pig has been delaying our salaries for months, and now he took away our dental plan!". The worker turns around and shouts "HE TOOK OUR DENTAL PLAN!", before throwing his flaming projectile at the station's doors. Wondering if you could help you push past the protestors and swing the authorization card by the access terminal. After a few minutes of someone on the other end debating on whether or not to let you in, you've finally been granted access. Inside you are met by a balding middle aged man. He looks very tired and devoid of all hope. "Praise adum, someone made it here!", he greets you wearily. "Churchill, the Galactic Recession has not been kind to my station. Prices are dropping and with that, so are profits. I've had no choice but to make cutback after cutback and I guess getting rid of the Worker Dental Plan was the last straw." He bursts in tears and mumbles: "I...I didn't want this to happen! I'd be happy to give them back their cursed dental insurance, but they've formed a union and look at the demands they're giving now. Eyewash stations! Fire Extinguishers! Getting rid of the flesh eating cockroaches in the basement. I cannot afford any of this without going out of business!" You tell him to calm down and ask if there is any way you could help. He lifts his eyes off the floor and says: "Well, I heard about this newest Luxurious Station Suite upgrade that some of the other station managers have been talking about. From what I hear it's obscenely expensive and extremely difficult to build. It comes with every luxury a worker could possibly want, but I don't have the money to pay for it. Unless..." He pauses to think and a smile stretches across his face. "Churchill, you look like you could use some pointers about station building, correct? I know it would be asking a lot, but perhaps you could bring me one of those Luxurious thingymagigs in exchange for some Station Mastery knowledge?"
* Experience given. * Reward Skill: Station Management through lvl 18
Summary Build a Luxurious Station Suite

The Zebra
"Amazing Churchill! You did it! The Zaphragi Prince has been destroyed. Intel from our scouts says the Zebra Armada is taking up defensive positions in another sector of their space. You know that that means?! It means they're not as cocky as they were when they started this latest offensive! They know that we've advanced just as much as they have since the first conflict and now they're reconsidering their strategies. It also means we opened up a hole in their forward lines, and we can go deeper into their terrorities, take even more of the fight to them! Churchill, I think you've earned this! It's a relic from the Zaphragi War and very rare, but you deserve it!"

Re: Lyceum stats needed, articles needed, and general info.
Basic Mzungu Lore
"Remarkable! It says here the Mzungu had a very structured society ruled by a grand Matriarch. I know this might seem quite backwards, a caste system with a supreme leader, but this Matriarch was genetically engineered to be the pinnacle of their species, therefore a very adept at leadership. According to the data found on the Orb, a citizen was placed in a caste based on technical ability. This also seems to have worked quite well, since a citizen was assigned to do the task he was best at." Zephyros looks over at you. "Quite amazing isn't it? An entire intergalatic empire was ruled with what we view as such an archaic system!"

Advanced Mzungu Lore
"Back again Churchill? During my latest research efforts into decrypting the data in the Mzungu Orbs you brought me, I've learned about a few items of special importance to the Mzungu. I was wondering if it was at all possible for you to collect them for me? They can be a bit difficult to come by, but considering your knack for the Mzungu, I'm sure you'll have very little trouble, now where did I put that list?" Zephyros shuffles around, looking through various piles of holocubes until he finds the one he needs. After activating it, he continues. "Ok, here we go. I require one Mzungu Trading Defense, one Mzungu Armorite, and one Mzungu Bolt. Like I said earlier, these items are of particular importance, and should advance our understanding of the Mzungu tenfold! Anyway, come right back here to see me once you've found them!"
* Credits given: 50000000 * Experience given. * Reward: Paxian Research Medal * Reward: Paxian Research Medal * Reward Skill: Mzungu Lore through lvl 15
Summary Bring Zephyros 1 of each of the following items: Mzungu Trading Defense, Mzungu Armorite, Mzungu Bolt. Also bring him 3 Gold Bars.

* Credits given: 50000000 * Experience given. * Reward: Paxian Research Medal * Reward: Paxian Research Medal * Reward: Paxian Research Medal * Reward Skill: Vazaha Culture through lvl 11
Summary Bring Volansus 3 Vazaha Invertoblast, these can be extracted from Vazaha Ruins after colonization or found in low level DG. Also bring him 2 Gold Bars.
Basic Vazaha Culture
"I bet you didn't know that the Vazaha never had an actual homeworld, or for that matter, ever colonized an entire planet! In fact, the world their race was born on was very quickly abandoned! The Vazaha were primarily wanders, roaming the vast wilds of the universe and only ever stopping on a planet long enough to establish an outpost. Quite amazing they managed flourish when they spent most of their time offplanet. Nowadays, some of the various pirate fleets share similar traits, but an entire race of starbound vagabonds! It's utterly astonishing!"
