I've been working on this ship, let's look at specs first:

138 edges
77 verices

Anyway, I was bored so I started fusing shapes, then messed with them and added wings and tweaking, and ta da!!

It can be a light fighter (preffered since I love light fighters), maybe recon perhaps, or a heavy fighter. I worked fairly hard on it, but it could use some more small tweaking maybe. Overall, I think it turned out well for my second model! :D

Now to see what'll look like in game...

It looks oddly rounded in-game sadly, maybe it just because its not textured though

Looks good, but if your going to put in a link to the file, export it from wings3d as an .obj file, not wings file.

Probably because it doesnt have the lines highlighting every edge. Without those (which would come from the texture) all the details of the model become quite invisible.

Also, are those wings just one triangle? ... you can do better.

You can do flat normals instead of smooth.

This could have some potential. Need to texture it and make a glow map.
