Post Again: Bases running out of rations
My production kit has been stocking up on 10-15m rations now for quite some time, with the reasonable low amount of 300 000 Workers only that has been on the base since the universe start. Today when I logged on, there were no rations on the base. enkelin made a topic about this, and it seems that the bug is still around.

This is terrible if entire production kits can get killed from being out of rations.

Are you manufacturing rations from oats on the base, or shipping rations in? It is definitely worth investigating whether the production bug is back, but let's rule out some other possibilities first. An increase in ration consumption elsewhere in your supply chain could have caused the shortage, for example.

At the time I got the bug, I was only producing them. Now I am shipping them as well as I'd rather not have my base dead.

How many MREs were equipped on the base? How many space oats (if any) were present on the base when you discovered it was starving? What other destinations are in the same space oats cycle as the base?

I will give you this information in a support ticket later, and then see if I encounter the same problem any time soon again.
