Siggy brake and undock
Siggy brake isnt working right.. I target a station and if it is attached to a planet it wont let me warp to it.
Other bug I am experiencing is that when i undock from stations in my SS I am random distances away from the station i undock from. jumping 6k out because its acting stupid is no fun. XD

another thing to mention with sing brake if you right click to ap somewhere lets say in a engineless ship the sing brake will Always fail until you relog to get rid of the ap

You can press a navigation key to get rid of the AP also.

Re: Siggy brake and undock
look in event chat for the jump failure. generally it is because of another object being in the place you want to warp to. be it a drone or moon or AI.
another Sbrake peeve is that it will occasionally warp you BESIDE the warp but just far enough away to not be able to jump.

Re: Siggy brake and undock
think that when undocking and get far out have to do something with docking speed ( the speed YOU dock in the base) compared to the base speed. 5 times in a row got out 5-10k at 150+ speed 600m+ weight and no engineer to tractor back = not fun

But the bullshit about the object being there makes the sig brake pretty damn useless since most stations are on planets.. the undocking thing may have to do with speed...but you SHOULD undock and the speed of your ship should = that of the station. logic tells me this makes sense...if it is even applied I havnt the foggiest. XD

Re: Siggy brake and undock
i might have found the problem of undocking far away from where you docked
average server delay! if its high or huge change the galaxy code dont see where you are and it thinks youre still drifting off in space while youre docked (not sure but its a guess)
how did i think of it? 1 client had 300 ms ASD other had 1.7 sec! same PC and same time. the char that had 1.7 sec was floating out on his sing sphere at full speed, the char that was tractoring it around couldnt grap it and event didnt say a thing (might be out of range, but on both clients he was clearly in range. and no grav blockers on both). no matter what i try, he kept floating out.
i might be wrong but im sure im in the good direction, if someone sees what i was wrong about tell it so it can be fixed for sure
if that get fixed a lot of other things can be fixed and we would love the one that fix it again
if a devmin reads this can he atleast put a reply to it? so we know its been worked on
