I have been noticing that atleast on magic attacks (havent been able to check others yet) that the bigger your ship is the harder the drones find it to target you for healing...

If im sitting in my EFBC I have to sit right at the edge of my magic attacks range to have them heal me, if I move too far they dont do anything and if I move too close they don't hit me.

Basically they shoot their shield transfers at/over me, but they dont hit, at all.

very true same with acmes. They wouldn't heal my alt's EFC unless i was at a certain angle to the drones it's very odd.

This is extremely annoying. sometimes the drones won't even try healing you if your not positioned a certain way. Please fix.

Because drones judge distance to the centre of your ship not the edge.

Well even when you are in perfect position they sometimes randomly stop healing you until you move again or shoot them?

That hasn't happened to me. Perhaps your drone has lower % shield or is out of elec.

No elec is full and they each have more then half there Shields. I use 3 acmes. There definitely bugged.

This problem is specific to large ships in the EF line but I can confirm it.

Panther fangs has the same issues. if your are right kind ontop of em behind them it wont it them it would go down the axis plane and miss the foe.

Bump, having this issue with my armada charge drones, lost a couple cause I died when I thought they were healing me.

I think it has to do something with weps only hitting the middle of the ship. It should be changed that weps hit whatever part of the ship not just the middle. Im sure that would fix the problem, not sure how hard that would be to code though.

Its not the middle of the ship, it has something to do with healing weps being too close to the object you want to heal. If I move to just the edge of the healing weps range, it hits me. Also noticed that the same thing is happening with my ShM, I realised I kept loosing to uber dgs because the monk kept shooting straight through me.

I have noticed this bug before but was unable to reproduce this ever since. Is there any scenario that always reproduces the problem?

My EF dreadnaught 1-3 armada charge drones, when the nose of my ship is just past the drone (or closer) it does the issue. In case its a shield size problem, my shields are 256k and energy is 611k. Using a VSXX and CCR. Happens every time, without fail... or with fail depending how u look at it.
