Any time a change chat tab i lose the message i am typing or if i click off of it I lose it as well.

The changing tabs I suppose can be justified to stop people accidentally posting in trade for example, will force people to be more careful.

But simply clicking off chat is ridiculuz ! :P

I often find myself in a position where I type out a long and complicated message, and then I need to jump somewhere, or dock, or anything, and my entire message is wiped if I click outside the chat bar. The old feature in C1 was a very good feature in my opinion.

And also, most people who mistype in trade chat, does so because they simply aren't as careful as the majority of the player base. If they constantly spam trade chat with "sssssssss" or "buying" then they should realize that they will be in risk for getting muted if it is repeated too often, simply because they are clumsy and doesn't bother too much.
