the T20 fighters seem to be lacking shields.

Ive seen cerberus' take more hits than the death of the first born can


Stormcloud also could use a slightly better engine. It likes to drift... alot... even on an FC

It's not the engine, but the weapon they have. I'll cut its range down.

Low shields is something that does concern me, but most of them are quite powerful in terms of DPS, just very papery shields. I will be changing the Locust Fighters for less client lag-spam (reduced particles, reduced number shots, and maybe RoF (DPS will stay around the same).

@Camsy: I meant the Easter missiles, not AEM's.

It'd be epic if u could add hop drives to the easter missiles and just reduce their speed. it'd be legen.... wait for it.... DARY!

Doesn't sound very useful, given the missile could then hop over the target... >.<

As far as I'm concerned ALL missiles in SS have underpowered engines.

1. There is no need for acceleration inertia dampeners.

2. They should all have over 100 Gs of thrust, and the T20+ should have well over 1,000 Gs of thrust, and no speed limit.

3. They should have predictive computers that know where their target will be and aim for that spot and not try to run it down.

4. They should NOT have an infinite energy source for their engines and once it is out of fuel they should self detonate or if their target(s) is/are destroyed fly back to the ship that fired them and dock.

That would mean a seriously unbalanced game you retard. I can just see it: 2 Gunners solo Kidd by bouncing Tsar Bomba tipped missiles off his back.

Or, 2 Gunners solo Erman's galaxy by nuking bases from well outside the base targeting range. 40k range missiles?

This would actually be nice to implement, eventually.

And of course your bases don't have defensive weapons equipped.
