Ye, well this is something that Voom, me and several other devs wanted to do for ages. Hopefully we can load in the new stuff / AI etc and not break everything ~ reward missions / gear etc might take a new uni to pop!

So... here we go:

  • Premium content only: sorry, but this is for P2P only - missions are designed to help you with credits / XP / gear all through your career
  • 60 vanilla missions from level 50 > 2000, split into 3 tiers, with about 10 linking missions going along with those. Repeatable if you're keen.
  • 36 Boss missions, 12 in each tier
  • 12 hidden missions (find them!)
  • At current count, 9 new mini-bosses (so, yes, some of those boss kills are old content, some are new ~ if I can work out what's broken with the auto-level calc, I'll shove some more goodness in there)
  • Lots of new gear / stuff -- talking to ze big cheese to see if we tie in some of the newer credit sink stuff: rewards won't go live immediately, 'cause we'll have to work some mechanics out (*cough* how-to-add-mods-to-mission-reward-gear *cough*)
  • New AI / Bosses / cool stuff in the actual zone
  • Lots of Easter Egg references for the cool kids


Anyhow ~ I've not forgotten Gunners, but MIRVs are a PITA. Grrr. ((And, Uni reset came at a bad time -- I didn't want lots of unfinished stuff going live by accident, so nothing was loaded to test. I'll look at fixing that for you all.))

I'm guessing that they're fairly simple go and kill things missions. However, I hope they at least point you in the right direction, or they'll be quite annoying trying to find your next objective!

AEM, is there a chance that you can just ninja buff Gunner? Like, just change the stats to something that's manageable, then file out the content after?

Not sure if intensional but I get the mission targets on top of playerships as well as ai. For example I have the inferno mission, and someones trade slave will have the target on top.

This is an unfortunate effect of it targeting a hull type, rather than a spawner name. There's lots of reasons for it, the bottom line being ~ "fixed next uni".

that was my subtle way of saying the mission text was broken :P the bit at the bottom says kill (whatever #) of $badalien1
