* I have it on good info what ever kits you use in the temp uni will not be replaced or rolled back when the real uni comes into effect. Cant say as that inspires me to waste kits in a 7 day uni.

Might be worth it if you see some artifacts that you want to try to get...

t9 kits and adon gear dont cost anything so just use them if u need to extract.

This merely an observation but the only people seemingly interested in this temp uni are legion, Bp, Sp, Traders and maybe ef. It looks doubtful you will see many others base building or pvping in the temp uni from the resonpse list so far in this thread. As there doesnt seem to be much gained from it other then losing kits and augs for a 7 day uni, that just me though and those that I have talked to about interest in a temp uni.

For the temp universe could we have a large colony years multiplier, to increase extraction discovery and speed? That would make it worth it to build SOME bases, anyway.

Like 100x or something, lol.

I intend to drop T9 kits. I would think that anyone interested in building bases in SS2 would take the week to test it out. I certainly won't require any additional incentive to do so.

this! but i'm not even doing that much just dropping a t6 kit to get feel of it for the REAL reset day.

There has been very little discussion about temp uni reset rollback....
sound like a great idea to get the uni really rolling.
no one is worried about losing gear or using gear usually set aside for uni reset then having to scramble for gear for temp reset.
Also, open PvP will be plain fun....
So what if no runs get completed in a week. i am sure we will all get over it rather quickly, as we will soon be busy building up our gals all over again.

I don't like the idea of a big rollback after the temp uni. I actually want to progress in SS. If there was a big rollback I'd just take a break from SS for a week.

1 week is not a BIG rollback. but would inspire more free play...
a temporary "nothing to gain, but what the hell, nothing to lose" might be nice to get the feel of the new SS at higher levels.

sure, if we get our subs extended for a week, I'm not gonna pay for an uni where I can't gain nor lose anything

Sorry, I forgot that fun isn't a quantifiable substance. So yea, a weeklong rollback would just be a waste. (was sarcasm)

Will be lots of new bugs discovered probably from what i've been reading. I tend to agree a full week rollback is just a waste of everyone's time. I won't be doing any ubers or dgs if that's that case.

Unless I'm not paying attention I don't think there's going to be a rollback. I think it's just a small 1 week universe before the permanent universe. If one of the other Devs could confirm that'd be great.
