Just I would suggest to remove the normal reboot modules, leave aug removal missions in, allow single aug destruction via right click on SHIPS, leave base reboot modules available, and DON'T allow right click removal of augments on a base.

By allowing people to simply destroy the augmenters they have on their ship one at a time, you remove the need for Reboot Modules. You also make it EASIER for people to justify buying new augs.

Many people here would certainly begin upgrading their ships asap if they could pinpoint 1 or 2 augs they wanted to remove at a time.

If they didn't want to DESTROY the augs, they could use the reset missions. The situation is still the same, the process is slightly different. The outcome is MUCH more flexible and promotes organic growth in the setups of peoples ships.

Here's the thing though. How many people ACTUALLY are willing to destroy 4 augs? Almost no one. People aren't as rich as you seem to want them to be. At the moment things are so fucking expensive for the low end player, if you don't build colonies your not to be able to afford anything. There's too much money floating around, so people can demand more because others have the money for it.

I'll "Garentee" you that if you allow people to pick certain augs to destroy at a time, you will see a noticeable increase in the number of augs purchased, and the turnover rate of the augs. And the side effect will be aug prices increasing... :/

Use an aug plug if you want to unequip. The idea of being able to destroy single augs in set-ups is still fantastic and should be implemented.

I was under the impression it'd be unlimited, each time you right click "unequip" an aug it asks you if you're sure you want to destroy it.

Don't see much point in limiting it to just one since it destroys the aug anyway.

How would that help anyone...

I'd rather keep the minor docking on my hypothetical HM+ if it meant I would lose an Aug slot if I took it off...
