Not sure I follow. How does that become an issue?

Some items, like a UL have a credit value of like 16 I think Shawn said.

Some other items (like inbuilt items) have low cost values because it's just quicker to slap 0 than 10000000 or something in and they aren't going to get AI based anyway. (Look at Capital Engine going for 1.3 or 1.4b, now it's probably going for 1000 if you could sell it).

This also wouldn't account for modded gear.

Just tested, Capital Engine is now unsellable to AI bases, along with manuvering thrusters.

Okay, I was talking about basing the restrictions off of tech level, not about credit value.

Oh, crud. I was about to write this whole big argument when I realized that I typed the above statement incorrectly. What I meant to say was "No PVP limits whatsoever DURING a war," just like practically everyone else in this thread is saying, and just like the playerbase has been begging for for ages.

The only way I would want no PVP limits OUTSIDE of war is if the cops were just going to pwn you to death for shooting noobs, which would be basically the same result as PVP ranges but more immersive.

Should make it so that when you kill someone, the cops will be aggro to you for 12 hours. Pirates will have to stay outta sight from the coppers!

It'd happen with travel ships, yes. But consciously being able to kill a combat ship by accident, well, you must have some terrible lag to pull that off.

As the game gets bigger(Like, Client2), that % is going to increase.

I'm going to love fighting several REAL pirate teams that aren't bulldozed by SP in Client Two!

Personally I would prefer no pvp limit after lvl 1000, with the pvp limit scaling up to no limit at lvl 1000 to get people used to it.

There should be no pvp limit with a mutual war.

Proposal 2, with the exception of perilous space, where there shouldn't be a pvp limit, and move non t21 related content out of perilous(people doing t21 content should be able to defend themselves).

Changing max pvp lvl to 2500 is stupid, its what less than 200 sp to get t21 skills, I'd say lvl 1700 is being generous. The difference in power between 2500 and 1600 isn't all that much to begin with and with a static range all this does is mean less pvp for people at the endgame, and at endgame aside from pvp what else is there besides the occasional content update.
