I'm sure there couldn't possibly be a logical explanation why the Saturn 1 rocket, which was launched from Earth to space, would have fins on it. And if there was one, it would surely apply to space-space launches as well, right?

Guys....we've had debates about fins for two days running. Will you give up already?

Anything moving in space does not need aero-dynamic features because there is no air to move in. Therefore, we do not need fins on anything.

Yep, in space there isn't really a need for fins. The Apollo rockets had fins because they had to of course fly through the Earth's atmosphere to reach the vacuum of space.

However, SS isn't a sim and we are as always looking for most aesthetically pleasing (read: cool looking) artwork to add to the game. 8)

We might have more than one winner and in-game reward btw. I appreciate the effort so many here have put into this new feature.

Yeah..yay..Fins rock man!!! Ive been posting mine in your Misc. topic..

I think mine could be some sort of earth-force line if you made em..Or something similar as they are kind of...Earthy?
