On a ladder you can easily slip (same with a chair), in an airplane you're encased in metal and sitting down- it may as well be a house (to the irrational side of you). In any case I'd say it's probably more common to struggle with ladders than an airplane. I can (fairly) happily make my way up cliffs, yet I'd still say that going up the side of my house on a ladder is more immediately scary than an airplane trip... of course this may simply be a case of desensitization through repeated exposure. |

I don't know if I'd go so far as to call it a phobia, but I seriously dislike the idea of breaking my teeth. I got hit in the face with a net(yes, a net), and it shattered one of my teeth, and ever since then...ugh. I feel like my teeth are made of glass. |
