Sputty too hard?

Imperium tried Sputty about 1 week ago. 3 MFs and 2 shield monkeys werent enough to dent his shield regen.
I am 1 of the noobs trying to get an Equan, but i guess ill have to wait a bit longer.

It took 4 people to kill Sputty. We died twice doing it. I doubt 6 players with non-tech 20 ships could do it.

Maybe make a tech 20 roaming ship that enters buildable space?

not buildabel space. thatd be WAY too easy. a few achilles bases strategically placed, some uber drones.

Sputty is in DG in Pleiades is someone is interested. I attacked him and he ran to the DG and got stucked there.

Like Biz said all ubers now need planning to kill its not about brute force like before.

Roberts for instance use to be able solo him now his aura drains me to hell so u have sit infront of him and try tank his dark fists. and then he pushes you away so u die and aggro switchs so you really need a few ppl minimum for all the ubers

Havn't tried it, but I have to say... Sputty's dmg aura would rape any non perm drones in about... 5 seconds... In other words, droners can't do shit to him... Not unless they spend like a bill on fatties/minings to do it... which at that point, why bother?

Why would anyone use mining drones against sputty? And I would think that fatties have too low range to work good against him.
