I thought it would be a cool idea if we gave one of them a lowish dps wep that jumps ~ 20 times max and ~ 125% dmg per jump?

I don't like this idea, but in my opinion, Heph Strikers should be allowed to be NB in return for 1 more jump and a little more tracking imo

While the method might not be balanced, the idea and role might be cool if refined. The problems SD and Seer have in acting as spawn clearers is that:

1. Typical oly or other uber spawn don't die in just a single shot, they have high enough shields that they have some resiliency, and even a sniper can't typically 1 shot a spawn with a beam weapon.

2. The number of spawns is such that the low dps of a sd/seer means they won't be very effective.

3. The targeting system is terrible for switching rapidly between targets when there's tons of them on screen. Hitting Q to get the next target takes forever if you have to cycle through every single one of your squad mates, and clicking might accidentally select a squad member instead if they are anywhere remotely near a spawn.

Having good AOE type weapons for SD and Seer would allow them (or really almost any class) to fill this role fairly effectively.
