Yes, it's encouragement. But yes, it's also force. It encourages small pirate teams to force pvp on any one they want to, and then hide in Sol when anything with a bigger gun warps in. And EVERYONE has to pass by them to get into Sol, and therefore Wild Space Outpost or EF Space. And because Sol is no pvp, the people who have the bigger guns can't do anything to rid the galaxy of the pirates. As Radia said, you cannot force people into pvp. Whatever person or team that does will inevitably get bulldozed by SBP or a coalition of teams. Radia said that you need to get people to WANT to pvp. The majority of players in SS do NOT WANT PVP. Attacking them for whatever reason IS forcing pvp onto them. |

why would u think anybody would want to be pirated in order to get to sol aka one of the ost important gals in the game? |

If you want to fight so bad then leave Traders, change your name, and start shooting everyone you see. Unless you are scared of a little combat? Whining about people's teammates hunting you down is not a good excuse to not pvp. People have been pirating for years. Only difference now is that there is no GG reward for podding people but, your seemingly insatiable thirst for shooting people will be quenched.
