Post subject:  The Sand Man.

A T21 Uber based off a very strong Slumberchrome with many battle scripts and more than the usual slumber weaponry cranked up to overdrive.

His spawn is weak for T21, looking as if they were based of Flyswatters instead of Shrimps/Warriors.


The uber is impossible to defeat at the beginning of the battle, and progressively weakens as the spawn strengthens. It may be possible for a squad to beat him early into the fight, but for people unfamiliar with said uber, the idea is to Survive the spawn until the uber gets weak enough to kill.

Spawn control is a critical aspect of this fight.


Like Kidd, he has a fun droptable with many powerful items, owing to how nasty the spawn can get.

An example would be the Sahara Gravity Well, a major debuff aura that combines features of a Radx(hard number) aura with the -speed from the prawn and a -agility(as opposed to making the enemy heavy and impossible to move)

No one has to do kidd to see that kidd drops good stuff. Even if the stats on the wiki are weaker than the real stats (if they're not already the real ones), I would still pay a fortune to get those pieces of gear.


Remember, this is a 10 man T21 uber. This is supposed to be difficult. Therefore, this is supposed to drop good loot like what Kidd drops.

You're making a fool of yourself Church. So far we've measured about 80% chance at an OL Crate from Kidd. Not so fun.

So? I call that awesome. Just because you don't think it's awesome, doesn't mean it isn't. Like Thermal said, we all have our opinions, but you cannot say it invalidates a person.



Back on topic:

It's a tough uber that starts out near impossible and makes the run a "Survive until you can kill it" situation. Sooner or later you can kill it as it would reach about Prince's difficulty.

Also could be added is scaling drop tables, where if you kill it within 5 minutes (a squad of Oly+ ships with T3/NB Oly gear could do this), the drops are epic. But kill it after 30 minutes and the drops aren't as good. These weaker pieces are either straight up lower tiers or BP's to make the higher tiers.

Either way, you miss out on the cheaper higher end gear (I'll take a ZT+ drop over having to build Modules, then a ZT, then ZT+ Upgrade) if you take too long.

19% they get nothing last 1% was the prawn BP
