This is a standalone suggestion, and part of an upcoming suggestion for an uber in the high end T21 range.


As the title says, this is an item (That happens to be a weapon) intended for those in very high end T20 setups or already pretty deep into T21 setups.

It is a high tracking pulse gun of about the same size as a 3shot and very low "actual" dps for the costs and rarity. On the other hand, it has a very nasty fire that lowers the target's regen by 0.25% or 0.50% per parasite, stacking on all the other fires already in place up to a cap of like 80%.

The fire is weak (hp wise) enough that an Andaman Exterminator or better would insta-kill it.

A side effect of the weapon is that it causes forced thrust upon the user when firing.


Now for the question of the day. What class would benefit the most from such weapon!

Zerker and heavily firing auged SD would be my guesses. Gunner to a certain extent possibly but only if they aug or gear heavily for firing or more MF. Actually, anyone but non-mf sniper could really use the weapon to some effect, but SD and zerk would excel.

Parasite aug mods currently only stack if they are on different stacks. i.e. 1x 1 stack of 100 parasites will be as bad as 1 parasite, while 100x 1 stack of 1 parasite will stack.

Weapons can't have an effect like forced thrust on the user right now.

-80% shield recharge, even if hard to achieve would potentially be very broken

The plan was for a T21 uber that have stupid amounts of regen, like 50% resist and 10 million RPS.

And so you'd have some stacking negative RPS tweak on certain support/recon classes to provide a bigger use or to encourage more seers/sds to get on runs.

Because you'd need them in the first place. The entire point of this uber run!

I didn't like the idea of such a weapon being locked to SD20 or SD21, so I thought that a unique weapon effect would deter snipers or zerks from using it.


However, perhaps the uber could have a forced thrust aura, or a chaining(20+ chains) weapon that does this.
