Post subject:  Parasite/Nanites Critting

Make parasites critical hit. Class and aug tweaked ofc. Would most likely require that the HGG gets nerfed a little. In the end, it would be worth it! In the end its a nice beef to parasites and nanites in general.

Wouldent that be a bit broken considering a seer could just put a physical or energy ontop of a enemy then they are helpless for about 30 sek

Crits effects have a cool down period, they don't overlap (for most classes, rules of sanity don't apply to snipers +crit duration)

Seer can get 90% crit chance at any ROF they want. For T20 ships, and not including any Crit Resists on the target. 105% if it's an AWC.

They'll just lose damage per hit if they're not ambushing.


However, as BuleSwarm said, there IS a cooldown between the effect. You'll still get the +damage from the crits, but the effect of the crit won't be extended(outside sniper class) in any way shape or form. It's like 3 seconds or so for the cooldown, in where no effect(of that damage type) is applied, period.


As for the OPer, the Glue Gun and all its upgraded forms share the same parasite. Who cares if the HGG gets nerfed? I'll just use the cheaper Glue Gun(T16) from then on, since the parasite gets a beef(and now will one hit SD's!).

Crit Chance yes, you can keep doing Crit DAMAGE, but not EFFECT.
