No Seer weapons should grem any more. Under the old system, critical hits made your target spin, creating a "grem effect". All of the Seer special weapons were basically the same as their counterparts, SwanMaker is lipo I think but had 100% critical, so always gremmed. Under new system, it will have 100% chance of critical, but because its surgical, it'll simply always give the target a +recoil effect, could be useful on ubers I guess. I believe Cael was working on changing them some time back.

Why is that not worth it? Based on the principle that it gets a 50% damage boost 100% of the time, it gets 375 DPS, which is a good 100 DPS better than a lipo... Plus, its more elec efficient. Also, that increase in recoil might just be enough time to fade back into the shadows after firing off a volley from your panther. :)

the hit makes fast weps go to at least 2sec per shot and the slow ones a lot slower rof

Because you are a retard. Try actually looking at Seer before trying to tell me about it. 60% of your damage is based on being unseen, any shots fired during the 10k 3 second vis timer, is completely pointless. Also, considering you are critting, those crits are even lower than usual because they already lost 60% damage. Its just far too much damage being wasted.

Nah, YOU'RE wrong this time, the 60% damage boost is based on hitting from behind, not on being unseen. The Unseen bonus is a +60% critical hit chance, and since this weapon allready hits crits 100% of the time, that makes no difference.

One thing that would be really handy for seers is a long recoil weapon that fires majorly heavy sludge that has a half life of around 5-10 seconds, so you can get in a good burst of DPS before fleeing into the shadows again.

Yeah I did bundle the bonuses the wrong way. Still, my point stands. The weapon is pointless, try hitting an ai from behind if they can see you. 60% is still gone.

it could be really handy in a boss fight, though... if it was focusing on someone else, you could sit behind it and pound it, decreacing its ROF significantly and doing quite a bit of damage besides.

What if you're a low level seer? :P Yeah, i know, it's not worth going seer unless you can max it out. But some people might, and i'm guessing thats what this is for. Anyway, whets the point in using a t13 weapon instead of a t20 one?

Another thing that would be cool is if seers could charge up multiple shots and release them in one big burst. That way they could use the fighting style meant for them better at all levels.
