4 years...Who owns the team now?

No one. GP quit and is not coming back. He did not give the team to anyone.

Now go away before this thread gets unnecessarily deleted like the last one.

As Radia said, GP owns the team and he quit.

GP said he will interview a new director as his final act as director.

I figured that by requesting a lock for the "new" recruitment thread, I had stopped all formal discussion of ZG in the Team Politics forum. Apparently not.

For those of you who wish to see the ZG flag alive and active again, I'm afraid I must disappoint. I must also ask that you quit beating on a dead horse. The team is gone, for a number of reasons; none of which I will post here, but rest assured I believe most of them are good.

I will not respond to anyone who comes to me asking that I return to the game, and/or reboot the team. Needless to say I was angered enough by the first round of them a couple months back. Right now I'm just really tired. If you want to reminisce about ZG, do it in one of those "ZOMG C1 SO GEWD" threads that I'm sure are floating around these forums somewhere.

Those few who still wish to hang out with me (and Nessiah Redemption as well) in an MMO environment, you are welcome to PM me and I'll give you the details on how you can do exactly that. Otherwise, I've restructured the old Xfire team forums as a casual group den. All ex-ZG members and close friends and affiliates are welcome to join and shitpost.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and if you're going to join the Xfire forums, make sure to provide your old IGN (or one that I can easily recognize) in the request app. Otherwise I'm going to ignore it unless it's plainly obvious who you are.

I think it's just that many people had their greatest happiness on Zero Gravity as a team, and want to relive the experience with their old friends as higher levels. To return from their exodus, so to speak.

They want you to be director, GP-Zero, though I figure if it really has to come to it, they can go without you and keep the name and flag.

This happened to UnderDawgs recently. The old director is gone, but the people who operate the team are mostly old UD members. I believe enough people would want to see Zero Gravity alive would come back and continue playing on the team.

Though, Jeff_L is very adamant about keeping old directors on team names that died off, even if it's the director him or herself that requests the name to be given back.

Tobal, for example is still the old Imperium director. Yet Voomy refused to give his team's name back. He had to use the name "The Imperium".

We could rebuild if we had one active councillor.

I don't know whether to be disappointed or relieved, or just plain neutral about this response.

Thank you for that bit of insight. I understand this much as well; a lot of players started out in ZG and there were plenty of fond memories. However, I find it rather ironic that I am still wanted as a team director, despite the fact that I was one of the reasons why the team eventually failed. Actually I find the entire notion of rebooting the team ironic.

With that said: There is no active councillor, and a team without an active director may as well be a dead one anyway. My offer to any of those who are still interested in playing with me (and Nessiah) in another MMO still stands, as do the old Xfire forums.

When all is duly noted and done I will be requesting a lock for this thread.

Oh no. I meant bringing back ZG while GP was gone. :P
