Game rules: * No hacking and no use of a 3rd party program is allowed. * Exploiting bugs is not allowed, if you find a bug it must be instantly reported to the admins. Non exploitable bugs can be posted on the bugs forum, exploitable bugs should be reported through the ticket system (http://www.starsonata.com/support) * Griefing is not allowed. Killing someone once is always ok but dont camp their stasised ship and kill them several times. Do not use a alt char that is much lower level then your main char to kill "real" low level players. * Harassment is not allowed, try to stay civil. * Racism is totally unacceptable and will without a doubt get you banned. * Causing lag for other players in for example Sol by using weapons, tweaks or items that causes lag is not allowed. * Scamming using F2P accounts is not allowed, if you're gonna scam someone then use your P2P account so you atleast risk your reputation. * Excessive scamming/sabotaging/stealing can result in all your chars being revealed to the affected players. In some cases it can even lead to a ban. * Do not spam people with team/squad invites. * In game items are the property of Star Sonata, you are not allowed to sell them for real life money. Star Sonata credits only. * Using a F2P to troll, harass, or disrupt the chats is against the rules and will result in the F2P being permabanned. * Using a F2P to impersonate a P2P is against the rules. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Forum rules: * Personal Attacks. Also known as flaming, posts designed to personally harass another user or insult another user, will not be allowed and can result in the deletion of the post(s)/topic and possible banning. * Posts deliberately designed for the sole purpose of angering or insulting other members of the starsonata community will be considered personal attacks and are not allowed. * Mutes and bans are not to be discussed on the forum in any way if you have a problem with a mute or ban please create a support ticket at http://www.starsonata.com/support. The same goes for complaints about chat/forum mods, if you have a problem create a ticket. * Posts about buying/selling accounts or credits is not allowed. * You may be banned from the forum without warning for the following things: Posting Pornography, racist remarks, sexually explicit remarks, threats, or any illegal activity, or posting links with any of the above. * Spamming is not allowed and includes the repetitive posting of a subject, posts that are off topic, and bumping old topics (bumping your topic in Outer Rim Outpost is acceptable) * Newbie harassment will not be tolerated if you have the urge to harass a new player please DONT. * No advertising. That includes personal advertising such as links to websites for competitons etc. * Please do not post in threads created by 'spam bots'. * Do not post links to websites that are not known to be secure. (Well known sites like wikipedia etc. or for example the SS website is ok) * Do not copy or use a very similar avatar as a SS admin, it can get confusing. * Inappropriate avatars and signatures can be removed without warning. * English only. * Administration reserves the right to lock topics at any point in time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Misc Rules: * Obey all admin instructions. * Do not lie to a admin.
