No. I meant as in, the reward.

1 admin says "Thanks." and other gives you an imp chest. It all depends.

Ah, that too. Usually I get an imp chest, though JonC only gave me a tarnished cRest (non-trade) for a big bug. And with one reported to Smiley, he said that it wasn't important enough to matter. Shortly after, there was a patch that fixed it. After waiting a few weeks for my ticket to be answered, I got my reward from AdminPip.

you only get rewards from exploitable bugs... the kind that you are not allowed to post in the bugs forum.

I posted something exploitable, and got a 'we'll look into it', no idea if they have done anything about it, im not going to do it myself.

Lawl, i discovered the only way to get my bug fixed was eventually to just post it on the forums, and tell everyone to exploit it

It got fixed pronto, and i got some message about how "They would have given you a reward, but because you did this, we wont..."

I found a bug, well reported it recently. I didn't find it I just stumbled upon someonea discovery. But I reported it and fix is in next patch (so I won't tell what the bug is currently). Do I get a seal of some form? It was kinda exploitable.

it all depends on which admin replies to your ticket :P some give them, some don't.

The two main reasons that bug reports get answers like "we'll look into it" or never get rewarded is that they aren't told to us in a way that's reproducible or that they are obvious, in that many players see this bug after a patch because it comes up naturally in the course of playing for lots of people.

For reproducible, give us the specific steps required to reproduce that bug and it will be very easy for us to fix it and reward you right away. If you can't tell us how to reproduce the bug, then we have a very hard or impossible time verifying and fixing it, and we generally don't reward unless we can do both.

My bug was that you could move the deflector drones in De/Reflector using physical weapons with kickback. Using that you could move one on the warp or clear a path to the base/drone.

If i told an admin about something the other admins had forgotten all about and that lead to them fixing it, does it count?
