Since the patch, I have the following problem. A base with 3471 workers is running out of rats despite 3 Hydros, 10 Slaughterhouses, and 8 MREs equipped. And yes, I have a Hatchery. The base is not even close to being full (about 1/3 at the moment). And there's plenty of money on the base too.

3 Hydros and 10 Slaughterhouses = 300 x 13 = approx 3900 supported.
8 MREs = 500 x 8 = 4000 supported.

Sitting on this base, I can clearly watch the rats tick up. Yet whenever I come back after a while it's starving. What gives?

Update: definitely a problem with sleepy gal code or something. I meticulously watched the ration count tick up from 340 to 360 over a few minutes. Returned to the gal after 5 minutes to find rations down to 230. The base is set to team only docking and does not sell rations.

Temporary fix will hopefully be to pile on a ton more hydros, but I'm not impressed by this bug and can only hope the rest of my bases are not affected.

I believe this bug has been around before, or previously noted. Try un-equiping and re-equiping your ration generators.

Rats are slaved in

I should add that I have 500K free space on that base. Its a colo base not a production base but it does some production and I have upper limits on all outputs. Its only producing to supply to the colo on that planet.

Let's see Camsy... what happens when a base runs out of rats? Of course I have re-equipped my ration generators! I have done it about ten times for each of these bases.

My solution so far has been to dump like 10 extra hydros on each base, effectively doubling the space oat supply. I had a third base go on the fritz this morning (again, plenty of hull and credits) and I'm not pleased.

my ration production bases are at their minimum values. have been filled to the brim since the beginning on the uni and never empty. no changes in my gal at all.

This needs immediate attention.

No wonder all my extraction bases keep running out of rations mysteriously then losing shields then dying :l ~ then losing gear >.<

I've had the sleepy code issue on my whole account with regards to mining slaves all uni, and that STILL hadn't been fixed.

As far as I've measured this has actually been fixed. Anyone else observed this?

Oh ~ my bad didn't realise I'm a month late on this post ;) haha, my sleepy code issue for mining slaves still works, if it persists over uniset I'll complain again.

Can I shuffle this off to the archive then?

Yup. If the problem returns next uni I will make a new post. Thanks for your support.
