They don't heal players with the Armada Wand, just the Rhino Restruct. Can this please be fixed?

Is it that the RR does more HPS?
You need 3 players(SD, Engineer, Gunner), or two players (Engineer with missiles[Ikr, wtf], and a gunner).

DM deploys a Titan.
Gunner attacks titan until titan is at 25%.
SD attacks gunner izer until gunner is at 50%.

Charge is dropped directly behind the titan so the titan sits between the charge and the gunner.

If it uses the RR, then it's bugged. The gunner should be the primary target due to being much lower on shields. And with the titan in the way, the wand should be used.

or you could just sit outta range of the rr and in range of the wand and watch it not heal you.

Mine heal with wand a lot of the time.... Solo dg'ing etc.

I have been suspecting this for awhile but did an actualy test yesterday, the wand heals drones just fine but anytime a player needs heals and there is something in the way the Charge does not heal the player.

Related to the healing bug. My Vazaha Operative Drones do the exact fucking thing. My only drones that heal me either run with base healers(Ambro/Anda Drones) or Engineer locked healer(Engineer Transfer Station).

So annoying. The ETS isn't a bad healer though, but totally sucks ass when you and your buddy needs both healing AND dps, with no shm nearby.

That is a very confusing and complicated test...

Given that the Armada Wand gives a Physical Vulnerability/Resistance, and the RR doesn't. It should be perfectly easy to see which is being used for the first shot.

We're aware of this, and working on it - the issue is that none of their items has changed, nor have the weapons themselves, which means the issue is deeper in the code.

Bit of a mystery, but on the priority list.

um im not sure if this has been said.

but charge's are working fine. however there is a small bug. AW doesnt hit players only drones. we just tested it in a dg, I sat where it could only hit me with aw but it didnt use AW. However when i moved where it could hit me with RR it healed me with the RR. This means it doesnt heal players with wand but heals drones with wand. so there is a small bug in the code there.

Hope this helps and if you already knew about this, then it dont matter.

HAL & I worked through this last night.

The issue is either:

Ethereal / negative tweak on the weapon - the Monkey De-Puzzeler on the Operative drone is also ethereal / tweak giving, which didn't help us remove either option, sadly

or

Code that prevents temporary drones working when the soul (owner) is in another system is somehow only effecting this weapon


HAL is working on it at the moment - once he's isolated the exact cause, expect a fix.



Something that would help us is finding any other drone that uses an eth healing weapon (with or without tweak) to see if those are working (temporary only).
