moving pointer over floaties and slave icons, top of screen, doesn't produce an info box with the floatie ID or slave ID like live does.

Searching for a galaxy that does not exist (spelling error) or has not been explored crashes beta client. Oddly enough, the error messages have disappeared from the 'event' tab when doing the same type of search on the live clent. The error message dialogs were functioning properly at the beginning of this uni iirc.

Version 182.887 is out. Run the beta client updater to obtain.

I'm noticing a considerable amount of desync with this client. Also I crash when I try to maximize my SS window.

In the UZ rt clicking on a WH moves you ship to the WH that you just came thru not the one you want to move to.

considering the beta client did very little change to the ap itself, i highly doubt this is a new issue, and as such, does not belong in this thread. This thread is for issues added by the beta client, not issues you want to be fixed that exist in the live client (those are tested, reproduced and confirmed, then handled to different code dev depending on what they entice).

Lag killer is enabled. In Poseidon the "LAG" icon does not appear and yet the client does not graphically update positions of ships. I was under attack from a whole swarm of Stingrays and yet I couldn't see any of them (just their bullets). What gives?

Version 182.956 is out

fixed the desync issue (i hope at least), there still seem to be a small desync in the base locations, but instead of being desynched by a random value up to 180degree, it now seem stable maybe a second behind its position on the server.

improved the performance greatly when playing with no AA. (before this change, even with AA off, it still ran through the AA related code, which caused a major slowdown (went from 20fps to 35fps at high on one of my lower-mid range testing machines and from 110 to 150fps on a slightly higher end test machine, with AA = "none").

Anatolia drone spam is once again laggy (just like any particle spam for me). Also, Undead Helro's beam was not rendered at all when I killed him.
