I finally managed to finish my custom shaders with a great help of Jey (kudos)

Shader change the way how ship is lightened in a way its always visible, even if there are no suns in gal.

Ships and bases look as bright as on the photo all the time

Unfortunately it doesn't work on low graphics.

Installation files:
Installer Choose your game's folder

Zip package if u don't like installer

Open package and extract it's content to:
C:\Program Files\Star Sonata 2\Content
(putting package there should work too iirc)

Note that you should turn off ambient lightening in options because ships will be too bright ;)

I just replaced the only file thats in the zip with the one in the Shaders folder.

Your on high or very high settings? Jey said that lower doesn't load any shaders at all ;/

PS: just tried it with very high, the old shaders should be replaced with these, way better looking...

this precise one wont work since its a pixel shader 3.0, hence the high/veryhigh only. there is a shader you could edit for medium support i guess, look for ShipMaterialP2.hlsl

Unfortunately ;/ low graphics don't use any that files I could change ;/
