The servers will be down 06/10/2011 around 11pm us-east (log in game for countdown).

That downtime is also for some server maintenance on www, so the website/forum/irc will go down for a period of approximatively 15-30 minutes

The whole patch should be done by 0h00AM us-east.

* added new superitem to the volcom "The finisher"
* added range info to weapon based superitem
* fixed a rare crash on the server
* fixed some source of lags.
* bullets will now impact missiles and fighters launched from the drones attacking you.
* drones and bases now automatically use super items.
* missiles now start with the angle of their user and full velocity.
* beefed kinetic missiles moderately.
* added a few failsafe mechanism to the instance saves that should prevent anymore "spaceshiped slaves" the fix is not final, but at the very least stuff should not just be lost anymore (they might lose their soul and be as your own ship in stasis on the other hand).

Not much c1 changes due to the currently running c2 beta, although a lot of internal changes happened in this patch, including server performance tweaks, stability, and other small bug fixes i probably missing reading the 340 svn revision there was since the last patch.

Various content changes:

*Seer Virus Transmission Lasers (Was already in, but not in patch notes)
*Fixed some issues with the Seer Virus Laser missions
*Beefed tracking on the Virus Lasers
*Made all Virus Lasers ethereal
*Added 6 more lasers
*Re-Jiggled Hermes to use/have less drones
*New Super Special Secondaries for various low tech ships (/outfithull to get them)
*Multifiring Reaver tweaks: Increases in damage and range, fixed issue where they'd use the inuilt laser
*Class locked missions now have max level of 99 instead of 20 (incase people had Seer Class 21 for example, and so couldn't do missions)
*Various C2 galaxy changes to look pretty (won't be changed untill next reset, but mainly UZ level content)
*New mercenary/piratey missions in C2 (unsure if added to C1)
*Super Special Secondaries can be used by AI
*Some C2 mission text fixes

Note: Some of these were in a while ago, but were never in patch notes.
