Sigs shouldn't be longer than a single line of text in my opinion. So I must disagree. |

It really matters more about vertical length than characters anyway. One quote and some formatting can easily hit the limit, but you can fill your sig with linebreaks and make it a mile long. Imo, a sig should take up no more vertical length than your avatar. It would be great if a forum dev could get some kind of scroll bar thing programmed in, so any sig over a certain length is chopped and has to be scrolled. |

/signed, I've hit the limit endlessly, mainly because I'm linking images with long names etc. that take up all the character space. |

No, Some sigs are already pretty cluttered. For right now they're staying the same length. |
