I know that augs do not currently effect the SSS on ships anymore due to some nerfing. This was a huge mistake.

You basically made SSS's as useless as missiles are at the moment. I suggest that any weapon type SSS should be effected by augs equipped on said ship with SSS.

It has an SSS that does 17k or so damage. And you don't do 2 AoS, Athena+.

It's intended as a Glass Cannon. But when used right, can you guess what would happen if you strapped 3 AoS to it? It's a free ship that can do insane burst damage.

Free.

Well, the augs are not free. But the ship is. Which is the point.

Also, Special Item and Super Special Secondary have been used by JeffL to mean the same things.

That would mean, his definition also includes....items...on...the...ship? Shit. Though, I'd absolutely love having my Xmas Spirit's mines blast 200k shield holes into unsuspecting LC's.

All im saying is that since they removed it, SSS weapons do insignificant damage, and are useless. Why make such an effort in putting SSS's on all the ships when they are all complete shit?

Not all SSSes are weapons. Look at Pos Wave, Delquad, AWC.

Then the weapons should be beefed or changed(What does a shm need a non healing SSS Weapon for?)

I meant all SSS weapons, I have no idea how they would implement aug stats in other type's of ships with non-weapon SSS's. Maybe make augs effect any SSS that inflicts damage to another ship ?

Would mean the pose wave would get a slight boost in damage with its push back SSS, but I don't think it would be broken at all.

Some weapon Special Items are not meant to do damage to enemies. The Pos Wave one is perfect for jumping enemies while stealthed. The Bule Abadi Spectre's weapon is an escape/debuff weapon.

Would be a complete and total waste to have +500% damage from augs to be wasted because the "weapon" actually does an exact zero damage per shot.

So it would be better to list the SSS Weapons that need fixing or beefs, and suggest them to be so. Just don't suggest anything for the Wave/+; it's already perfect IF YOU USE IT AS A STEALTHY SHIP THAT IS NOT AUGGED THREE CAL!

I love how you think all my setups consist of 3 cal augs hahaha

Do with it as you will, all I'm saying is I auged a slave around his SSS and now it is completely useless.

The way augmenters affect Super Items is very unlikely to change.
