Y'know that look that you get when the server lags for a few seconds and all the shots you fired go off at once? How about an item that does that for you! You press a button and it saves up some shots, and then when you release it it fires them all at once!

It would look cool.

not sure I like this. Would let you store up lots of burst dps without gaining aggro, which feels a bit broken.

Sniper locates boss... holds down fire for 10 seconds... releases and kills enemy before it can even fire back...

I suppose if you had weps vis while charging it could be better.

Depends, can you say... Charge this outside a level? Eg. charging a MD as a seer before entering Cess, or does the AI need to be targeted, or just applies to the same galaxy?
Irregardless, this puts Snipers, SDs and Seers at a HUGE PvP advantage, more so then they have as is.
I don't like it, too exploitibubble.

That would be so broken its not funny. Imagine a sniper who can build up his shots. Snipers n zerks would start to be able to solo oly.

So to expand on the idea, this cap would have to be either shot, time, or damage based.

As a time based cap, it would hold all of your shots from the moment you hold down space, to when it reaches its time limit, releasing those shots immediately. This would be around 5-10secs imo.

If shot based, it would hold up to 3-10 and release all of them simultaneously after the last shot. This is obviously a bit more broken with high damage/low recoil weapons.

Leading to damage based, which would let you keep firing until you reach a certain max damage cap, like 1-30k (after skills and augs) depending on tech. Again, it would release as it hit the capacitor's maximum, meaning you have to have good timing or range/tracking if you want to hit your target.

Numbers are MADE UP. Warping can optionally cancel your charge, if you so wish. Other balancing measures include class locking to non-SD, seer, sniper, or zerker. Use your imagination people!

Imagination coming up now.
Make it so that it only stores every second shot and third of the shots are lost, also the time for storing should only be 2-3 secs at most.

EDIT:This would fix
a)not getting agro
b)would have a damage loss
c)wouldnt be abusable, as much as i can tell.

No, i think what he's talking about is SD's ability to run away. If you could just charge up all the shots you would have fired when the SD was in range, then the ability to run away would become essentially meaningless. The same goes for seer.

I guess it's just not a very good idea. Glad you all supported it though!
