I'd rather see gunners given proper lines of missiles for all damage types with sub-types that have greater emphasis on certain stats. Laser damage sub-types would have different debuffs and debuff strengths.

I'm not sure why something like this hasn't been done yet, gunner was implemented as a class based around missiles and debuffs.

I don't even have a gunner.

I do and they keep fucking me over by giving my job away to FCs and Seers. How about we make destruction a +30% DPS boost so we still supply less of a DPS boost than FC(fucking retarded), and we might just give enough damage that we can go ahead of Seers even though they can carry ass loads of different weapons to boost allies in a plethora of different ways.

Or we can just continue to fuck all the gunners over. That seems to be the most fun choice at the moment.

Oh, and P.S.: give me laser damage missiles like TB said.

Subskills:

Infestation Class

4% chance per level that an enemy fired upon will attack your target for the next 20 seconds, only 4 enemies can be infested at one time, infested targets will not attack you
-3% vis per level

err everything else you can decide, maybe damage boosters for infested targets and what not

It obviously wouldnt work on ubers or player ships, and it would suck in pvp except against characters with slaves (would work on their guards though)
